Great alternative in a golf cart community
The one complaint I have about this bike is how long it took to get and there were some hiccups once I got it because some important bolts were missing. Customer service was very helpful in helping rectify the situation. But overall I love this bike. I live in a golf cart community, so its a great alternative to having a golf cart and/or driving in a way that also allows you to get exercise. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but after two rides I got the hang of it pretty well.
WE love our new bike!
WE love our new bike! Its perfect for our two kids (4 and 2 years old). Highly recommend!!
Premium purchase
All in all, I experienced great customer service, an easy shipping process, and received a very premium cargo bike. It only took me two rides to get comfortable with its unique riding style. The battery is good, the engine is smooth, and the style reminds me a lot of a 70’s VW camper van. It has no problem holding four young kids and a big papa. The storage under the seats is great; you can tell the design was well thought through. I live in a golf cart community, but the Roam cargo bike is all about lifestyle, health, and convenience.
Endless fun!
Such a fun mode of transportation! My kids have a blast everytime we go for a ride in it. We love to take it to the park, splash pad, grocery store. It’s got plenty of space for the three of them plus the storage compartments. The battery life is good, the bike itself is sturdy and well made. I’m 5’ 10” for reference and it was comfortable for me to ride. Highly recommend!
My favorite mode of transportation
If you’re on the fence, you’ve done the research, you’ve scoured the internet and Reddit and are just unsure… GET IT. You will not regret it. We have had our cargo bike for 4 months now and have put almost 100 miles on it (NE United States snow days kept in the garage for most of the winter but were back!). I love it. My kids love it. It’s everything I wanted. Pros: -Battery life. It’s surprisingly long lasting. I have my bike set to 8 different intervals and usually use its on 3-4 for getting up the hills. I only need to charge it once a week-10 days. -So must space. I ride with 2 kids in it most trips and all our gear. Sometimes that’s scooters, a bike, school bags, etc. It fits it all. The under seat storage is great for every day stuff - in the winter that’s been a camping blanket for keeps the babes warmer, the summer will be a picnic blanket, umbrella, etc. It’s great. And that just one seat! Love the storage. -FUN. It’s so much fun and we get laughs and smiles along our route every time. Cons: -Seat is a little uncomfortable. I switched to a wider, cruiser seat and it’s been great. -Sun- wish it had a sunshade. I’m going to make one maybe with a mesh/screen for bugs but having it totally open apparently isn’t fun for the kids. Personal issue not really a con? Just me wanting a sun shade lol It is easy to upgrade and outfit with gear. Rear basket, side mirrors, pinwheel, cub holders…lots of stuff! We really love it and cannot wait for the consistent warmer weather. I don’t think I’ll need to drive our car 80% of the time once the weather is nice.
